Sandbox checkout · Version terms-2026-10-22-shipping-included-v1

Estimate requests and the private quote and order pages are available. Checkout currently operates in sandbox mode for testing; no real payments are collected. Your final written quote and accepted terms identify the seller, specifications, payment schedule, estimated timing, and any agreed exceptions before payment.

An estimate request is not a purchase agreement. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any material revision to your quote or agreement requires your approval before proceeding.

Quotes and approval

We review your requested configuration and prepare a written quote. Menus, reference prices, supplied parts lists, and inspiration photos do not guarantee a particular price, availability, fit, or finished appearance.

Parts pricing and availability are subject to change until parts are ordered. We obtain approval for substitutions, backorders affecting your order, and changed charges before ordering affected parts. We provide parts order confirmation. A payment does not authorize unlimited additional charges.

Before the first payment, you will approve the identified quote version and accept these terms through an initially unchecked agreement box. Keep a copy of your approved quote, terms, and receipts. Purchase orders and alternative payment terms require written acceptance.

Payment schedule and sales tax

100% of quoted parts costs is due before parts are ordered. The remaining balance for assembly and custom labor and applicable tax is due after completion and testing, before shipment. No final balance is automatically charged without your authorization.

Each payment schedule itemizes charges, applicable tax, payments received, and the balance due. Tax depends on the transaction, delivery location, exemptions, and applicable law. Assembly or customization labor may be taxable; tax is not necessarily limited to component costs. Tax collected in the first payment is not collected again in the final payment.

Shipping is included in the quoted price; no separate shipping charge is added at completion. Any required exemption documentation must be reviewed before the invoice is finalized.

Changes and pre-shipment cancellations

The flat restocking fee is 15% of the pre-tax quoted selling price of parts already received for your order at the time of cancellation, where permitted by law. It is not calculated on tax, labor, shipping, or unreceived parts.

For example, if $2,000 of a $4,000 pre-tax parts order has been received, the fee is $300, rather than $600. Any tax refund is calculated separately under applicable rules.

Request a build change through your secure order page or by email. We may also recommend a change for fit, clearance, fabrication, or availability. Material changes require your approval of the exact revised configuration, price and tax breakdown, timing, and coverage notes before affected work or purchases proceed. Routine fitting and routing within the agreed scope can be recorded as progress updates. A request does not approve a change or additional charge. Restocking fees are not automatically added to changes we recommend.

All cancellation and refund requests must be emailed to sales@coreandframe.com with your quote or order reference. We confirm the affected parts, fee calculation, and refund breakdown in writing. The order page provides status and records; it does not offer automatic cancellation or refunds. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where available; processing time is confirmed with your refund notice.

No fee applies when a full refund is required by law, we cannot fulfill the order, or the delay guarantee below applies. These provisions concern cancellation before shipment. They do not establish a general return-for-convenience period after delivery. Warranty and statutory remedies remain available.

Estimated timing and delays

Build completion and delivery dates are estimates. We notify you of parts and production delays and provide revised timing. If we cannot meet an agreed shipment timeframe, we provide the delay notice, revised shipment timing, and consent or full-refund options required by applicable law. Required rights may arise before the additional guarantee below.

Additional delay guarantee: if your system remains incomplete more than 30 calendar days after the original estimated completion date, you may cancel before shipment for a full refund with no cancellation or restocking fees. A revised estimate does not restart this 30-day period.

We do not treat a missed estimate as automatic permission to extend an order indefinitely.

Final review and shipment

Before dispatch, we provide completion photos, a testing summary, and a final invoice for the remaining quoted balance, with shipping included. You must confirm the delivery address and authorize final payment. Shipment is released after the final payment is verified.

Final payment confirmation includes any agreed special instructions and build-specific unpacking, setup, and handling guidance. Tracking is provided when arranged, with carrier acceptance distinguished from label creation. Notify us promptly of delivery problems and keep packaging and photos to help resolve any carrier claim. Applicable legal rights are not shortened by this request.

Workmanship and component warranties

One-year limited workmanship warranty: for one year from delivery, Core & Frame covers defects in its assembly or installation, including custom liquid-cooling installation and mounting CPU or GPU waterblocks. Covered workmanship issues are corrected at no labor charge.

New components: carry applicable manufacturer warranty coverage, subject to the manufacturer’s terms, product eligibility, purchasing source, applicable law, and any custom modifications. Manufacturer coverage is separate from our workmanship warranty.

Installing a CPU or GPU waterblock is not automatically excluded from our workmanship coverage. Manufacturer policies differ, and we cannot promise that every manufacturer will cover a modified component. We review known limitations before quote approval rather than treating all waterblock installations as automatically voiding every warranty.

Other custom modifications and any known effect on manufacturer coverage are identified during quote review. Used parts are identified in your quote with any confirmed remaining coverage; they do not automatically carry a new-product warranty.

Contact us with your order reference and a description of the concern before arranging service. We review concerns individually and confirm the service process and responsibility for shipping costs in writing. Routine cleaning, coolant service, upgrades, and other maintenance are separate from correcting covered workmanship defects. Follow the care instructions supplied with your build.

Customer-owned PC upgrades

Your upgrade quote covers only listed new parts and agreed labor, setup and testing. Existing hardware remains your property and is not charged as a new purchase. Before approval, we confirm the current equipment, known issues, scope, backup and access arrangements, removed-part handling, inbound shipping responsibilities and costs, and packing / liquid-cooling preparation.

Approve the quote and pay the full new-parts balance and applicable tax before sending your PC. The verified payment confirmation provides the send-in address and your order reference. Do not ship before that confirmation. Keep a verified backup before sending equipment; arrange any required access privately and do not include passwords in request forms or photos.

We record arrival condition and included equipment. Production begins after the customer PC and all required new parts arrive and intake is complete. Timing guidance remains an estimate. Inspection findings, compatibility changes or additional charges require your approval of a change order before affected work proceeds.

We test the agreed upgrade scope, share completion photos and a testing summary, and arrange return shipment. The remaining labor and applicable tax are due before return shipment, after you confirm the return delivery address. Return shipping is included in the quoted price. Inbound shipping remains the customer’s responsibility unless the quote states otherwise.

The cancellation policy applies only to received new parts quoted for this order; the customer’s existing equipment is excluded from the restocking-fee calculation. Customer equipment remains yours after cancellation; we agree its return arrangements and any return carrier charges in writing. Required fee-free refund rights remain unchanged.

Our one-year workmanship coverage applies to the agreed upgrade work, including waterblock installation. Existing equipment is not given a new component warranty; any existing manufacturer coverage remains subject to its terms. New and used replacement-part coverage and modification limits are identified in the quote. Concerns about existing equipment or service are reviewed individually.
