FROM YOUR IDEA TO YOUR DOOR
Your build.
Every step, explained.
A clear path from your first configuration to a finished, tested computer.
01 · Shape your build
Use our configurator, share a Newegg PC Builder list, or send your ideas and inspiration photos. An estimate request starts a conversation; it does not place an order.
We review specifications, compatibility, cooling, availability, and any organization purchasing requirements. Your written quote lists parts, assembly and custom work, and applicable tax. U.S. shipping is included.
02 · Review and fund your parts
Review the final quote, payment schedule, and Terms of Sale before paying. Full payment for parts is required upfront. Applicable tax is itemized in the payment schedule. Labor and any remaining tax are due before shipment.
Parts pricing and availability are subject to change until parts are ordered. We notify you of backorders, substitutions, or price changes and obtain approval for affected changes or additional charges before ordering. You receive a parts order confirmation.
Your private order page provides your quote and secure Stripe payment links. During testing, no real payments are collected and no parts should be ordered or systems shipped.
03 · Source, assemble, and test
We keep you informed as parts arrive, your system enters production, and testing begins. Completion dates are estimates; we notify you of parts or schedule delays and explain revised timing and cancellation options.
Standard setup includes assembly inspection, appropriate stable BIOS and driver updates, memory and storage checks, CPU and GPU stress testing, cooling verification, fan and pump configuration, and connectivity checks. Custom loops receive leak testing. Operating system installation and activation are included when specified in your quote. Specialized workload testing is agreed separately.
04 · See your finished system
Once assembly and testing are complete, we share completion photos and any testing or setup notes. We pack the computer and arrange shipment. U.S. shipping is included in your quoted price.
Your final payment request itemizes labor, applicable tax, payments received, and the remaining balance. You confirm your delivery address in a highlighted review box before final payment. Tell us about delivery or handling instructions at this stage. Changes to the agreed destination or service are reviewed with you before shipment; any price change requires your approval.
05 · Payment confirmation and delivery
After final payment is verified, your system is cleared for dispatch. Your confirmation includes build-specific unpacking, setup, and handling instructions. We provide tracking when shipment is arranged and distinguish a created shipping label from a package handed to the carrier.
Your private order page keeps your quote, payment history, completion photos, tracking, and updates together. The payment summary shows payments received and the remaining balance separately from build progress. You can return through the link in your order emails.
Changes, timing, and support
Request a build change on your secure order page or by email. We can also recommend an adjustment for compatibility, clearance, or a custom part. You review the revised configuration, cost, timing, and warranty notes before approving. Requests alone never approve extra charges.
For all cancellation or refund requests, email sales@coreandframe.com with your order reference. We handle the request directly by email and keep the reviewed calculation and refund status with your order.
For pre-shipment cancellations, the flat restocking fee is 15% of the pre-tax quoted price of parts already received for your order. It does not apply to labor, tax, or parts not yet received. A customer-requested component change applies the fee only to received parts being removed, where permitted and included in the reviewed proposal. Fees are not automatically added to changes we recommend. Labor is refunded if paid, or waived if unpaid, even after assembly is complete.
If your build remains incomplete more than 30 calendar days after the original estimated completion date, you may cancel before shipment for a full refund with no fees. Earlier refund and shipping-delay rights required by law still apply. See cancellation terms and timing terms for details.
Builds include a one-year limited workmanship warranty. Manufacturer component warranties are separate; known limitations and used-part coverage are reviewed with your quote. See warranty coverage and our testing FAQ.
